SCA’s Irene Hulme Jumps Ship To Nova For Music Director Role

Nova Entertainment has appointed Irene Hulme as music director for the Nova Network.

With extensive music and programming experience across the three major Australian radio networks, Hulme has held senior roles at the Hit, Triple M, 2Day FM, KIIS and Nova Networks, in multiple markets. Having spent the last five years with SCA, most recently she held the position of national head of music.

Paul Jackson, Nova’s chief programming & marketing officer said: “We’re delighted to welcome Irene back to Nova . Her vast experience, musical knowledge and programming skills are renowned in the industry. Along with Scott, we have two of the most respected music programmers in the country working for Nova .”

Hulme will work alongside Scott Baker-Smith, the Nova Network’s head of music, to oversee the Nova Network’s national music function.

She will commence the new role from Monday 6 January 2020.
