No Sweat! The Monkeys Win rebel After The Sports Retailer Forgoes In-House Creative

Sports retailer rebel has appointed The Monkeys as its new lead creative agency.

For the past seven years, rebel has produced all its advertising in-house.

The Monkeys will work across brand, communications and creative, with work for the national retailer – owned by Super Retail Group – to roll out immediately.

rebel GM of customer and marketing, Jenny Gulliver, said: “We are working with a true partner to rebel, one that is delivering powerful ideas that can be fully integrated into our business. We are delighted to have found that in The Monkeys.”

The Monkeys CEO, Paul McMillan, added: “There is no doubt that sport is calling us now more than ever, not only for our physical health, but also our mental wellbeing. We are delighted to be working with the team at rebel, a place where I bought my first soccer boots back in 1985.”
