Nike has released a six minute Freaky Friday advert staring Cristiano Ronaldo switching bodies with a young British fan. The advert took five days to film in Spain, says Nike, it was the most extensive brand shoot that the 31-year-old Ronaldo has ever done.
We wouldn’t mind switching bodies with Ronaldo, but mainly for his tidy annual pay packet of $US88 million ($A117 million) a year. The Real Madrid star’s earnings was made up from his $US56 million ($A74 million) a year he takes home in salary for kicking a ball about and the other $US32 million ($A42.7 million) was from sponsorships and endorsements.

The U.S. women’s national team midfielder, Megan Rapinoe also makes an appearance on stage at the awards ceremony. Other sport pros who make cameos are Raheem Sterling, Joe Hart, Harry Kane, Chris Smalling, John Stones, Ross Barkley, Ricardo Quaresma, Andre Gomes, Jose Fonte, Cedric Soares, Vieirinha, Raphael Varane, Anthony Martial, Sergi Roberto and Javier Mascherano.
