Nicole McInnes has been appointed as the new director of marketing and commercial at WW (formerly Weight Watchers).
McInnes was made redundant as Ovo CMO in August this year. She has held a multitude of top marketing gigs at brands like Pandora, Eharmony, Woolworths, Adshel and AMEX.
WW rebranded in 2018 and McInnes’ remit will focus on embedding the new brand into the Australian conversation and ensure its growth across the ANZ region.
WW ANZ managing director Le Renard said: “We are thrilled to welcome Nicole McInnes to the WW team as our Director of Marketing and Commercial, as we continue on our journey of transformation to become the world’s partner in weight loss and wellness.
“She brings a wealth of expertise in brand, digital and subscription marketing which will be invaluable as we create cut-through with new audiences and deliver greater value to our member base, as well as genuine passion to deliver on our mission to inspire healthy habits and make wellness accessible for all.”
Mcinnes added: “WW is at this amazing point in its history and I am so excited to join at the beginning of their future-focused transformation. What has remained is their mission to change people’s lives from the inside out, and leading the marketing, digital and commercial teams to deliver on that promise is an inspiring challenge.”
Weight watchers relaunched as WW last year with a mission to deliver healthy habits for real life.
The transformation went beyond the brand with WW relaunching all its food range with no artificial ingredients, along side significantly upgrading its digital app to further support its members to fit wellness into their lives easily and sustainably.
