News Corp Australia has announced the launch a media buying solution that gives marketers direct access to 3.2 million Queenslanders with one phone call.

QPOWER offers simplicity in accessing all of Queensland, including every regional town, in just one buy, according to a statement by News Corp.

Through QPOWER, advertisers can access print, digital, mobile, video, programmatic, audience insights and category specialisation, as well as develop creative and strategic commercial partnerships.

All of News Corp Australia’s assets include four national/metro daily titles, 17 regional daily titles, 76 non-daily titles/ communities, 60 regional non-daily titles, and 16 metro community titles.

Michael Miller, executive chairman at News Corp Australasia, said: “We aim to simplify the media marketing landscape, empowering marketers to achieve scale and local area connections, reaching 87 per cent of Queensland’s population, through one media buy.

“This is an empowering solution for businesses at a time when being local usually has to be traded off against complexity and company resources for the advertiser. Not anymore.

“QPOWER will help marketers take advantage of the trust and impact on consumers when businesses go local, especially with news media.

“News media is part of the lives of Queenslanders. It’s there for the good times and the bad, it inspires and informs, fuelling the economy on all levels. Advertisers can benefit from this medium.”
