News Corp Launches ‘Provocative’ Opinion Site For Women

News Corp Australia today launched RendezView, a topical, entertaining and provocative opinion site aimed at women. The site will feature commentary written by a number of the nation’s most highly regarded columnists from across Aussie newspapers.

Described as “the meeting place for news-making views”, RendezView will be edited by Sarrah Le Marquand, former opinion editor at The Daily Telegraph and will include well known contributors from the Herald Sun, The Daily Telegraph, The Advertiser, The Courier-Mail, The Sunday Telegraph and NT News.

News Corp Australia’s group editorial director Campbell Reid said: “RendezView has been driven by Sarrah’s passion to create a compelling forum for the country’s most stimulating conversations and I am delighted it is ready to take flight.”

RendezView editor Sarrah Le Marquand said: “RendezView offers a unique platform via which we can showcase the talents of a diverse range of women from across News Corp who are well known for insightful, lively and sometimes controversial views that trigger conversation.”

In addition to consolidating daily opinion content from leading columnists across each masthead paper, RendezView will feature additional content written by News Corp’s large stable of commentators, reporters and feature writers as well as from guest contributors.

“RendezView offers a forum by which our writers and columnists can continue the conversation and own it as it develops, enabling us to not only break stories and ignite debate but to respond to developments and breaking news throughout the day,” said Le Marquand.
