Transaction marketing company ROKT has appointed Neil Robinson (pictured above) as its chief revenue officer.
Robinson will be responsible for building and leading the company’s global sales team, devising solutions for marketers and attracting leading advertisers and their agencies to its transaction marketing platform.
Robinson, to be based in New York, will report to Bruce Buchanan, ROKT’s CEO, who said “Neil has demonstrated, over his years in digital media sales, an exceptional ability to grasp an advertiser’s challenges and formulate programs that exceed expectations. His industry insight and enthusiasm for all things digital will be most welcome at ROKT. We are glad to have him on the ROKT team.”
Prior to joining ROKT, Robinson spent 19 years at News Corp. in a series of sales positions of increasing responsibility in the U.K. and Australia. Most recently he oversaw the development and delivery of the company’s digital sales strategy, collaborating with product, technology, editorial and sales teams while also managing News Corp’s programmatic revenue and SME offering, “News Xtend.”
“The ROKT team explicitly gets the role of relevancy and context in digital marketing and delivers this at scale,” Robinson said. “Marketers today expect surety of results in their investment. ROKT provides that. I’m thrilled to join such a great team.”
