The Newcastle Knights have announced a new media partner, teaming up with market leader oOh!media to boost the club’s out of home advertising presence in the local area.
Ready for the 2020 season, the partnership is designed to promote the Knights in outdoor and retail locations, driving interest in the club and greater awareness of its fixtures and activities.
oOh!media is the Knights’ first out of home media partner, and the arrangement builds on the existing oOh!media billboard at McDonald Jones Stadium, home of the Knights.
“We are delighted to team up with the Knights – a club that’s so important to the city,” said David Scribner, oOh!media’s chief customer officer.
“It’s great to be associated with such an iconic presence in the Hunter region, and I know that local supporters will be looking forward to seeing their team’s messaging appearing more prominently in outdoor spaces as the season gets under way.”
The Knights partnership strengthens oOh!’s presence in the local area, the company already having assets in Charlestown Square, Green Hills Shopping Centre, and exclusive rights to internal and external advertising assets at Newcastle Airport, which is the second busiest in NSW with around 1.3 million passengers passing through annually.
