Brisbane based creative and strategic advertising agency New Word Order are looking for the next generation of young athletes to participate in the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Despite the games being a full decade away, the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) has joined forces with New Word Order to begin the hunt for young athletes who could represent Australia at the Brisbane event.
The agency team created a central theme—You for 2032—and coupled it with visual identity and a campaign tagline of ‘2032 is made for you’.
The campaign drives aspiring athletes to register their interest before a robust screening, testing and evaluation process gets under way.
New Word Order partnered with digital and web technology experts at WK Digital to create and develop an online application platform designed to appeal to young audiences as well as meet a host of customer journey, UX and data architecture needs.
The agency’s creative approach centres on selling the dream of Olympic representation using aspirational and inspirational language along with images of some Queensland’s most well-known Olympic gold medallists including Emma McKeon and Logan Martin.
Agency partner Scott Oxford said the agency was thrilled to be helping to uncover the next generation of Queensland medallists.
“The 2032 Games may still be 10 years away but the work we do now for this talent identification program could uncover the next generation of sporting legends,” he said.
