Nespresso has announced two fresh-facecd appointments for the business in Australia and New Zealand, which come into play from October 1 2016.
John Ciaglia (pictured right) has been promoted to country manager, New Zealand, while Nicole Parker (pictured left), previously the marketing and communications manager since 2010, will be taking on his former position of B2C commercial manager.
The two promotions follow a collective 11 years of growth and innovation in their respective areas. Under Parker’s leadership, the marketing team has launched an increasing number of new products and limited edition Grand Crus every year, strengthened nationwide partnerships with key influencers, and ensured market insights are taken on board.
In his time as commercial manager, Ciaglia was an instrumental part of the local Nespresso growth journey for the business and for Nespresso partners. He will bring his experience and leadership skills to New Zealand, to ensure the market continues to deliver great results.
Loïc Réthoré, general manager of Nespresso Australia and Oceania, said, “I congratulate both John and Nicole on their new roles, a move which formally recognises their exceptional talent and the significant contribution they’ve made to the development of our business over the last six years.
“This is a milestone for their careers, and certainly, equally significant and beneficial to our business, and that of our partners”.
A new marketing and communications manager will be announced in due course.
