Rogue Penis Radio Prank Goes Horribly Awry

Following on from radio’s great tradition of on-air pranks that go horribly wrong comes news out of the Netherlands of one quite literally ending in tears.

Youth network Radio 538 had invited aspiring songstress Maan de Steenwinkel to perform live in its studios in the Dutch city of Hilversum.

However, 538 DJ Frank Dane decided to prank the 20-year-old and enlisted a naked man to run through the studio while de Steenwinkel was performing with her band.

Rather than see the funny side, de Steenwinkel burst into tears and was unable to perform. She later said the sight of the penis had left her “really scared” and it was a “really stupid prank”.

Other Dutch artists are now calling for a boycott of the station, calling the stunt disrespectful.

Anyway, check the unfortunateness out below. And B&T does warn there is a hint of a gentleman’s willy flaying about in the video.
