Seven’s The Voice saw numbers fall from opening night, but still score a very impressive 1,162,000 viewers, as per OzTAM’s metro data.
The Voice was the highest rating entertainment by far, easily beating time slot competitors Australian Survivor (618,000 viewers) and The Block (627,000).
On top overall was Seven News with 1,245,000 viewers, while Nine News had 1,089,000, A Current Affair had 807,000 and ABC News had 749,000.
The rest of Seven’s night saw Home and Away net 710,000 viewers and The Chase score 671,000.
For 10, Have You Been Paying Attention? had 603,000 viewers, The Project had 567,000 viewers and 10 News First had 400,000.
On the ABC, 7.30 nabbed 609,000 viewers, Australian Story had 561,000, Media Watch had 466,000 and Four Corners had 446,000.
Finally for Nine, Hot Seat had 557,000 viewers.
On top overall was the Seven Network with 35.6 per cent of the daily share, followed by the Nine Network with 22.7 per cent, Network 10 with 19.8 per cent, the ABC TV Network with 15.2 per cent, and the SBS Network with 6.7 per cent.
