He may be technically a Kiwi, but actor Sam Neill has done some of his best work in Australia. It’s probably why a near million (911,000 to be exact), tuned in to watch him on ABC’s Australian Story on Monday night.
Meanwhile, over at Nine Lego Masters did a decent 1.09m, while 10’s MasterChef did its lowest numbers of the season so far with 826,000 viewers. Seven’s best was The Chase with 691,000 Aussies tuning in.
Nine finished off the night with 22.3 per cent in primary channel share, Seven did 16.9 per cent, ABC did 16.2 per cent, 10 did 13.1 per cent, while SBS did 4.2 per cent.

News did 1.27m, The Chase Australia did 691,000, and Home and Away did 669,000.

News did 931,000, 7.30 did 841,000, Four Corners did 749,000 and Media Watch did 687,000.

Nine won the night across all channels with 29.1 per cent, Seven did 25.0 per cent, ABC did 20.1 per cent, 10 did 18.7 per cent and SBS did 7.0 per cent.
