Mitch Churi Moves Into ARN’s Evening Prime Time Spot

Mitch Churi has finally nabbed a prime time radio slot on KIIS after slogging it out on nights.

Churi will now be taking over the airwaves on KIIS from 7-10 pm on weekdays. So you’ll be able to hear him discuss all things celebrity and pop culture while making dinner – what a vibe.

Churi is definitely someone to watch, he is an emerging television presenter and an undeniable radio talent. He made a name for himself hosting Mitch Til Midnight and has been steadily growing his social media following.

Honestly, he is becoming a little bit of a celeb.

Churi also hosts his own podcast with comedian Mitchell Coombs, A Couple Of Mitches and has joined The Life Uncut radio team.

If that doesn’t keep him busy enough he also appeared on Nine’s Love Island Australia’s Afterparty and managed to find time to document his COVID-19 experience on Instagram – what is the male version of a girl boss?

Basically, Churi is kind of everywhere at the moment.  So the switch to prime time seems like it’s been a long time coming.

Churi said:  “I’ll be honest, I am going to miss being the last person out of the office at midnight each night – and my friendship with the station cleaners.

“After seven years with KIIS it feels like the perfect time to be launching this new show at 7pm, and to bring the great little community of listeners we built in the late-night slot to primetime!

“There’ll be some great laughs and big moments on the show this year, I’m really excited for everyone to hear what we have planned!”

The Night Show with Mitch Churi launched this week live across KIIS Sydney and Melbourne. This brand new show airs live weeknights from 7-10 pm.
