BMF and Clemenger BBDO Melbourne have dominated this year’s Ministry of Sports Marketing Awards, collectively taking home half of the trophies on offer.
The event, held last night at Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney and hosted by Triple M’s Gus Worland, was developed to shine a light on the sports marketing sector as a whole and highlight the opportunities for the very best talent to be working in sport in Australia.
BMF claimed the most gongs on the night with three. The agency’s ‘You’ve Gotta Have A Team’ campaign for Football Federation Australia’s Hyundai A-League won the Best Digital Sports Marketing Campaign, Best Use of Social Media in Sport and the Sport Advertising Campaign of the Year categories.
Clems Melbourne also found itself in the winner’s circle, taking home the Best Sports Marketing Campaign and Best Use of Sponsorship in Sport awards for its work with NAB.
