Triple M has announced that funnyman Mick Molloy and sports journo Mark Howard are the latest additions to the network’s cricket commentary team for the 2016-17 season.
Molloy, who is an accomplished comedian, actor, writer and producer, currently co-hosts Triple M’s The Hot Breakfast in Melbourne, while Howard works as a TV presenter and journalist for Network Ten.
Molloy and Howard will join headliner Kerry O’Keefe, along with James Brayshaw, Isa Guha, Michael Slater, Brett Lee, Brad Haddin, Merv Hughes, Darren Berry, HG Nelson, Jules Schiller, Lawrence Mooney, Gus Worland, and Neroli Meadows.
Triple M signed a two-year deal with Cricket Australia in October to broadcast selected Aussie Test matches over the next two summers.
The new Triple M commentary team will pad up on December 15 for the first Test of Australia’s series against Pakistan at The Gabba in Brisbane.
