Michelle Obama Spruiks Fruit And Veg In PSA With Tons Of Celebs

Michelle Obama has appeared in a new public service announcement (PSA) in America to promote healthy eating.

The First Lady wants to get America healthy and while many big fast-food brands spend oodles on advertising, health food ads aren’t as widely common.

The ad first appeared during talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! last Thursday night (US time).

Michelle Obama is also recruiting a number of celebs to help spread the health message, such as Jessica Alba, Kristen Bell and Nick Jonas.

AdAge reports there’s a new brand being born, FNV – standing for Fruits ‘n Veggies.

“FNV was inspired by big consumer brands, whose tactics are relentless, compelling, catchy and drive an emotional connection with their products,” said the CEO of Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), Lawrence Soler.

“We want to do the same thing for fruits and veggies, which have never had an opportunity to act like a big brand. Until now.”
