Southern Cross Autereo has announced that radio host and comedian Merrick Watts will host his own drive-time show on Triple M Sydney from today.
The network said in a statement that the new show, Merrickville, is designed to put a spotlight on everything that’s great – and not so great – about Sydney.
“From 4pm to 6pm every day, Merrick talks about what Sydney is talking about alongside fellow comedians, footy players and sports legends, journos and probably an ex-convict or two,” the statement said.
“Breaking news, issues that affect Sydneysiders, small stuff that sometimes gets swept under the rug and small stuff that should get swept under the rug, Merrickville is the home for all things Sydney in 2017.”
