The former managing director of Kapten & Son and a former senior executive from Liberty Financial have teamed up to create RIPE Brands, a new digital marketing agency.
RIPE provides a unique offering to emerging and established companies across a range of industries. RIPE will also offer brand building and sales support services.
“There are many agencies out there – but when you look under the hood, most are solely digital marketing operations,” said RIPE’s managing director Chris Telley.
“Our approach is different and more holistic. We have expertise across multiple channels, but most importantly we are also channel agnostic. This gives us flexibility to provide a broad range of customised solutions. In addition to digital marketing we can open doors for our clients to global distributors, e-commerce platforms and establish local retail partnerships. We can also assist with back end and working capital solutions – as well as driving growth through digital marketing.”
Telley was formerly managing director of leading European fashion house Kapten & Son’s Asia-Pacific operations. He was responsible for driving a multi-pronged sales and marketing strategy that delivered rapid and significant revenue growth. Telley will bring this proven approach to RIPE’s clients, providing a full spectrum of sales and marketing outcomes.
RIPE’s co-founder Suresh Pillai has over 25 years of financial services experience and was formerly a senior executive with Liberty Financial and a consultant at KPMG and PwC. Pillai has extensive experience in growing start-up businesses into mature businesses.
“Revenue generation is vital for new businesses – however, inadequate capital and inefficient operations are frequent barriers to sustainable, long-term success. By having an integrated view of front and back-end operations, we are able to build businesses for our clients rather than merely acting as advisors,” said Pillai.
