MediaCom Snares Publicis’ Carl Colman For New MD Melbourne Role

MediaCom has appointed Carl Colman to the role of managing director, Melbourne.

Previous chief client officer at Publicis Media, Colman joins MediaCom with over 20 years of industry experience.

During this time, he has managed multi-disciplinary teams and led clients such as Suncorp, Telstra and Qantas.

As MD, Colman will deliver growth in MediaCom’s Victorian based agency, focus on the development of the existing team whilst attracting talent, and to evolve media partner relationships to deliver market leading service to clients.

He will act as a key partner to Nicole Boyd in her newly appointed role of managing partner, Victorian Government.

Boyd said the partnership will yield immediate benefits for the MediaCom team and its clients, “we are investing in building a partnership that will see our clients thrive for many years to come.”

MediaCom AUNZ CEO Willie Pang said of Colman’s appointment: “Our Melbourne business is large and thriving. We believe that we have an opportunity to continue accelerating to be first in market.
