MediaCom Appoints Karleitia Bodlovic As Director Of Ecommerce

MediaCom has today announced the appointment of Karleitia Bodlovic to the role of director of ecommerce. This appointment is representative of the agency’s inaugural hire to BLINK Consulting in Australia.

Established as part of the agency’s proposition to help clients ‘See the Bigger Picture’, BLINK Consulting is a 3rd millennium applied consultancy, offering specialist capability for clients in the areas of digital maturity, strategic in-housing, applied innovation, platform activation and integrated ecommerce. Part of MediaCom and the WPP Consultancy Group, BLINK Consulting comprises a global, regional, and local network of consultants.

Prior to joining MediaCom, Bodlovic has held a suite of client-side roles, most recently head of eCommerce and digital at Damn Good Beauty. With more than 150 experts working across MediaCom’s network, now including Bodlovic, BLINK Consulting provides digital acceleration solutions around five transformational pillars ensuring the best possible results for clients.

In her role Bodlovic will work to better connect existing capability across investment, data planning and MediaCom’s specialist division of Creative Systems to bring together media, content, creativity and platform optimisation to accelerate eCommerce growth. She will also be responsible for leading transformation across eCommerce that unlocks growth across marketplaces and direct-to-consumer models incorporating operations, data strategy, technology, customer acquisition & innovation.

Tom Robinson, managing partner said, “We’re very lucky to have Karleitia join us as she’s incredibly experienced in the space and is moving into agency life after a career on client side. With that, she’s perfectly placed to understand where clients need support, where growth will come from and what’s missing from agencies. Being able to support our clients with some of their most pressing concerns in these areas is a significant differentiator for us as an agency.

“I’m excited to see Karleitia leverage her experience, knowledge, and skills to inspire innovative and transformative thinking in the service of our clients.”

Yaron Farizon, CEO MediaCom AUNZ added, “I am thrilled to have a talent like Karleitia join our team. Establishing an effective eCommerce practice is integral to ensuring we are enabling our clients to ‘See the Bigger Picture’.

“Throughout the hiring process, Karleitia showed an incredible understanding of the challenges many of our clients face and where agencies can play a great role in driving client growth. I have no doubt having Karleitia’s smarts will impact our client’s growth significantly in this space.”

Bodlovic added, “I am incredibly excited to be joining the MediaCom family and have the opportunity to work and collaborate with truly world class talent.  Coming from a career on client side I feel have a great opportunity to bring a different perspective to the table and add to the existing breath of digital capabilities at MediaCom.  I am ready to support our valued clients in their eCommerce journey and start welcoming new opportunities for their ongoing success within the eCommerce space.”

Bodlovic’s hire follows further investment into data and creative integration by MediaCom with the recent appointment of Prajat Khare, managing director data led planning and systems intelligence, and the promotion of Tom Robinson to managing partner of creative systems. Effective immediately, Bodlovic will report directly to Tom Robinson.
