Zenith Optimedia Win Macquarie Media’s 2016 Footy Tipping Competition

This season proved to be a great year in AFL with an increasingly even competition creating rivalry and difficult decisions amongst footy tipping participants.

Macquarie Media’s 2016 footy tipping competition was no exception with 19 Melbourne agencies going up against one another each week in the bid to win weekly prizes and an overall prize worth $5,000.

With a launch at the MCG and total prizes amounting to more than $20,000, the inter-agency competition proved extremely successful. One agency in particular stood out across the 2016 season with four weekly prizes under their belt and ultimately taking out the $5,000 major prize after Round 23; Zenith Optimedia. In an outstanding effort, they managed to finish 8 points ahead of their closest competitors, Mindshare, and finished #2 overall in the entire 3AW footy tipping competition with 5,000 total entrants.

Zenith Optimedia were presented with their prize on Friday afternoon by special guest, former Collingwood player and coach and 3AW football commentator, Tony Shaw. Macquarie would like to congratulate Zenith Optimedia on their exceptional effort for the year and also say thank you to all other agencies who participated across the 2016 season.
