WiTH Collective Announces Two New Associate Creative Directors

WiTH Collective has announced that highly regarded, integrated creative team Nicole Hetherington and Simon Fowler will join the agency as associate creative directors, reporting to chief creative officer, Steve Coll.

The award-winning creative team were previously at BMF and also worked with Coll at Havas Worldwide, where they were responsible for Virgin Mobile’s ‘Meal for a Meal’, Sony Bravia’s ‘Like Nothing You’ve Ever Experienced’ and ‘The Most Powerful Arm’ for Save Our Sons.

The duo has been awarded at every major international award show, including a coveted Black Pencil at D&AD. They were recognised at B&T’s 30 under 30 for 2015 and recently picked up another silver Clio.

“Nicole and Simon are world-class talents, and I’m delighted to welcome them to the rapidly growing team at WiTH,” says Coll. “They have a proven ability to think beyond great advertising concepts into newsworthy social ideas. They’re also extremely collaborative with other disciplines. That makes them the perfect fit for WiTH. Anyone who has worked with them will see them as future leaders of our industry, and this role is very much about the future.”

Fowler and Hetherington added that it was a no-brainer to join WiTH Collective. “The team at WiTH are smart, crazy, friendly and passionate,” they said. “In an industry that’s changing, we’re amped to be with an agency ahead of that change. Every day poses a new challenge and a new learning curve, and we love that.”

Hetherington and Fowler will also join Paul Kelly, head of design and user experience (UX), and Som Meaden, head of development, on a newly formed creative council within the agency.

“Advertising is just one of many factors in the experience of brands,” says Coll. “Therefore it makes sense to involve more of the expertise in the agency. Having Nicole and Simon alongside two immense brains like Paul and Som means that UX, UI [user interface design], development and creative thinking will all have a meaningful influence on our work. Especially when we’re in the fantastic position of having all these skills and talents in-house.”

Agency co-founder and CEO, Justin Hind, adds that over the past five years, WiTH Collective has successfully attracted incredibly talented people from the multinational networks. “Our team is focused on impact for clients and using the most modern means to deliver it, which is part of the reason we’ve been growing quickly.”

Fellow co-founder and COO, Dominique Hind, says that the creative duo makes a wonderful addition to a great team. “This increased focus on our creative product is perfectly in line with our aspiration to become Australia’s leading business problem solvers, and further strengthens our ability to create real impact and change for our clients.”
