Wednesday TV Wrap: Nine’s On Seven’s Heels & Anh’s Brush With Fame Gives Aunty A Boost

While Seven is having its time in the sun this week, Nine is hot on its heels, pulling a 26.8 per cent audience share to Seven’s 27.4 per cent, according to overnight OzTAM metro numbers.

In exciting news for the ABC, Anh’s Brush With Fame has managed to give the broadcaster a much-need boost, pulling 625,000 views.

Its 7pm news had 660,000, 7.30 pulled 648,000, The Weekly With Charlie Pickering drew 561,000 and You Can’t Ask That enjoyed 439,000.

Off the back of this, the ABC took home a decent 19.3 per cent audience share.

Seven still managed to dominate the night, however, thanks to its 6pm news (975,000), with its Today Tonight program coming in second, raking in 962,000.

Other standouts for Seven included Home And Away (624,000), The Chase (553,000) and the Little Big Shots US (354,000).

Nine’s best was its 6pm news (875,000), ACA (732,000) and Hot Seat (498,000).

For 10, its best was Bachelor in Paradise at 520,000, followed by The Project (479,000), and 10 News First (375,000).
