Wednesday TV Wrap: MAFS Kills Everyone, SBS Claims A Bit Of A Win

It’s becoming tedious to report, but once again MAFS was the star of the show on TV last night.

Nine’s raunchy dating show again enhanced its invincibility, posting 1.3 million viewers last night according to OzTAM overnight metro numbers.

This left MKR nursing 732,000, while 10’s Bondi Rescue drowned with just 309,000 viewers tuning in.

Wednesday’s only other notable highlight was SBS’s Australia In Colour which did well with 337,000 and gave the broadcaster a boost in the audience share – taking home 8.2 per cent last night.

Nine won Wednesday with 33.9 per cent of the eyeballs. Seven had 28.6 per cent, the ABC pulled 16.2 per cent and 10 could only manage a neat 13 per cent.

In the battle for breakfast, Sunrise (293,000) gave Today (192,000) a morning tickle.

For Seven, its other highlights included its 6pm news (948,000), Home And Away (634,000), The Chase (530,000) and Undercurrent: Real Murder Investigation (444,000).

MAFS aside, Nine did well with its 6pm news (868,000), ACA (806,000), New Amsterdam (443,000) and Hot Seat (452,000).

Over at 10, its standouts were The Project (369,000), 10 News First (375,000), Bondi Rescue (309,000) and a repeat of Bondi Rescue (247,000).

The ABC’s night ran thus: Hard Quiz (694,000), 7pm news (670,000), 7.30 (612,000) and Rosehaven (470,000).
