With instant-hit Lego Masters done and dusted, the top spot was left wide open, with Home and Away Managing to steal the win once again.

Seven’s soapie pulled 669,000 viewers last night according to OzTAM’s overnight metro numbers.

Wednesday’s most-watched programs were all news, with Seven’s 6pm bulletin (1.071 million) seeing off Nine’s (977,000) and the ABC’s (710,000).

Nine’s A Current Affair reeled in a respectable 768,000.

When it came to the commercial network’s evening entertainment, following Home And Away, was Seven’s The Chaser (663,000) winning bragging rights over Ten’s Masterchef (642,000) and Seven’s House Rules (597,000).

Seven sneaked home for a Wednesday night win with 28.3 per cent audience share. Nine was a whisker behind with 25.7 per cent, 10 did 21.3%, the ABC had 17.3 per cent and SBS did 7.4 per cent.

Other notable wins for the ABC included; ANH’s Brush With Fame (555,000), The Weekly With Charlie Pickering enticed 510,000 viewers and You Can’t Ask That (359,000).
