Best Places to Work is published by global workplace assessment and research company Great Place to Work. The rankings are determined by combining results from an employee survey, which measures behaviours known to lead to a trusting workplace, with a “culture audit” that gives human resources personnel the chance to express their company’s unique culture.

According to Great Place to Work, “The Best Workplaces in Asia list recognises organisations in the Asia region that are dedicated to sustaining high-trust cultures for their employees. These workplaces are distinguished by their extraordinary levels of trust, pride, and camaraderie. Putting their people first is a key priority for these companies and it is this commitment to providing strong, caring, and innovative cultures that we celebrate with our Best Workplaces in Asia list.”

UM Australia CEO Mat Baxter (pictured) said the agency’s new ranking in Asia was a great honour. “The third position speaks volumes for the Australia leadership team and the team culture that has been so well embraced by our people. We’re also thrilled to be named among other dynamic industries like IT, financial services and healthcare.”
