Twitter’s Big Drinking Game During ABC’s #KillingSeason

Twitter’s Big Drinking Game During ABC’s #KillingSeason

The premiere of The Killing Season might have been a ratings hit for the ABC. But it appears Twitter users were more interested in the drinking game the three-part series has inspired.

The ABC’s documentary which explored the tumultuous years of the Labor leadership under Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard pulled in 986,000 viewers according to last night’s OzTam metro ratings.

But instead of the battle of words between Rudd and Gillard, Twitter seemed more interested in getting super drunk.

The rules were simple:

1. Drink whenever someone swears (especially former minister for climate change and energy Greg Combet)

2. Drink when K-Rudd flicks his hair

3. Drink when you hear the words “backstab” or “no backstabbing”

4. Drink when there is a jump in editing

5. Drink if someone stalls their answer or simply doesn’t respond to a question

6. Drink to forget the Rudd-Gillard years
