Tuesday TV Wrap: The Masked Singer Goes Over The Million Mark Again

The Masked Singer again did the business for 10 last night, going over the million mark for the second night running.

The surprise smash pulled 1.054 million viewers last night according to OzTAM metro numbers, slightly down on Tuesday’s debut of 1.162 million.

Again, it caused some headaches for The Block, it managed 816,000 last night.

While the ABC’s Old People’s Home For Four Year Olds continues to pull viewers, it did 664,000 and was Aunty’s most watched show of the evening.

Nine won the night with 27.3 per cent of the audience share (all channels). Seven did 25.4 per cent, 10 had 22.4 per cent, the ABC did 17.4 per cent and SBS did 7.4 per cent.

In the battle of the 6pm news bulletins, Seven (955,000) got bragging rights over Nine (815,000). ACA did 759,000.

In the battle for breakfast, Sunrise (272,000) handed it to Today (184,000).

Other highlights for Seven included Home And Away (617,000), The Chase (568,000) and Counting Down To Australia’s Top Dog (420,000).

10’s other highlights included The Project (526,000), BH90210 (468,000) and 10 News First (361,000).

Over at Nine, SeaChange (426,000) appears to be shedding viewers while Hot Seat had 436,000.

The ABC’s other doers included its 7pm news (647,000), 7.30 (546,000) and Foreign Correspondent (441,000).

SBS’ best was Insight with 194,000.
