Tuesday TV Wrap: Lego Masters Dilutes MasterChef’s Consommé

Nine’s Lego Masters was again the top entertainment show of Tuesday, posting 1.02 million viewers last night according to OzTAM metro numbers.

Lego’s success has also taken some gloss off MasterChef’s launch. 10’s cooking show mustering 678,000 last night and shedding 37,000 from Monday’s debut.

Bachelor In Paradise is arguably not doing the business for 10 this season, it pulled 440,000 last night.

Still, a MasterChef/Bachie combo did give 10 some of its best audience share numbers for a while. The network pulling 20 per cent of last night’s eyeballs.

Lego handed Nine the Tuesday win with 29.9 per cent audience share. Seven was second with 26.1 per cent. The ABC had 15.1 per cent, while SBS – boosted by Who Do You Think You Are? (391,000) – did 8.9 per cent.

Seven’s 6pm news (1.082 million) was the most watched show of the night. Other highlights for Seven included The Chase (611,000), House Rules (550,000) and Andrew Denton’s Interview (481,000).

Nine’s other doers were its 6pm news (991,000), ACA (855,000), Big Bang Theory (599,000) and Hot Seat (522,000).

Over at 10, The Project had 481,000 and 10 News First did 428,000.

The ABC’s best was its 7pm news (735,000) and 7.30 (562,000).
