Travis Day Nabs Top Role At Vizeum

Vizeum has announced two significant promotions, with Travis Day appointed to the role of national managing director, and David Campbell to the role of Melbourne general manager.

Both Day and Campbell were founding members of Vizeum in Australia and after an extensive review of both internal and external candidates, their promotions are testament to the quality of talent fostered within the business.

As national managing director, Day will lead the roll-out of an operational evolution across Vizeum, working with its national leadership teams as part of an ongoing commitment to ensuring the business is geared to guide clients through the continually evolving environment they are operating in. His focus will be firmly on the quality of Vizeum’s product and service, to the ultimate benefit of clients.

Speaking of the promotions, Vizeum CEO Kenny Stewart said, “At an agency and Group level, we have always sought to develop and promote talent that shows the necessary drive, awareness, values and ambition to ensure it delivers on our promise to our customers and provides growth for our talented staff.  This forms part of some broader changes taking place to ensure we have the right leadership and structures to progress and enhance the Vizeum business and its offering.

“With these new responsibilities for Travis and David, Nick Behr continuing as the founding MD of Vizeum in Sydney and Ben Taylor established as National Head of Strategy, Vizeum is poised to present as a cohesive, strategically strong agency force in Australia, optimised to deliver compelling communications solutions for their clients.”

Day said, “It’s a great honour to assume this national role within a company that I believe in very much and have been a proud part of since we opened the doors in Australia. In three and half years we have built a business of great purpose through a focus on innovation, intelligent thought and service excellence. The business continues to grow in a focused and sensible fashion and the next few years represents a very exciting time for the agency, its people and clients. I’m also really pleased to share this promotion with a team mate and friend in David, as he steps up to the Melbourne GM role.”

Campbell said, “Having been with Vizeum from its inception, I’m passionate about the brand, its people and its clients. I am thrilled to be given the privilege of leading the Melbourne team and am committed to continuing to grow and develop this great agency.”
