Thursday TV Wrap: Seven Has An Easy Win On The Back Of The Bomber-Giants Game

The AFL handed Seven a comfortable Thursday night win after 500,000 viewers tuned in to see the Bombers upset the Giants.

According to the OzTAM data, Seven took home 34.3 per cent of all of last night’s eyeballs (all channels). Nine had 24.9 per cent, 10 did 18.3 per cent, the ABC pulled 14.6 per cent and SBS did a neat eight per cent.

Nine’s NRL coverage of the Tigers-Bunnies game pulled 343,000 metro viewers.

Seven’s 6pm news was the most watched show of the night with just over a million. Other highlights for Seven included The Chase (602,000), Home And Away (388,000) and the AFL post-match (307,000).

Nine did well with its 6pm news (840,000), ACA (675,000) and Hot Seat (515,000).

For 10, MasterChef was its standout, posting 626,000. The Project did 410,000, 10 News First had 360,000 and Taboo did 326,0000.

Over at the ABC, its 7pm news had 625,000, 7.30 did 487,000 and Escape From The City had 381,000.
