Thursday TV Wrap: Gogglebox Shines For 10, But Seven Takes The Cookies

Googlebox continues to prove 10’s Thursday night go-to, posting 647,000 according to OzTAM numbers and snaring the number one entertainment show last night.

Still, it wasn’t enough to lift 10 out of fourth pot when it came to audience share. Seven won the night with 28.6 per cent, Nine had 24.4 per cent, the ABC posted 19.4 per cent, 10 has 19.1 per cent and SBS 8.5 per cent.

Seven’s 6pm news was the most watched show of the night, posting 909,000 and Home And Away pulled 524,000. However, the second iteration of Ms. Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries was disappointing with 333,00 tuning-in, a drop of 130,000 on last week’s debut.

Nine’s best was its 6pm news (808,000), followed by ACA (649,000), Hot Seat (414,000), Australian Crime Stories (337,000) and a repeat of Bad Mothers (149,000).

Over at 10, The Project did 380,000, 10 News First drew 350,000, Show Me The Movie had 341,000, Blue Bloods posted 216,000 and Pointless pulled 161,000.

The ABC’s night ran thus: 7pm news (682,000), 7.30 (576,000), Escape From The City (510,000) and Grand Designs Australia (396,000).

For SBS, its best was Henry IX with 221,000.
