Thursday TV Wrap: Front Bar Gives It To Seven On Rather Quiet Night

Thursday night is proving one of TV’s quietest and that was definitely the case last night with no program going over the million mark.

The top shows all proved to be news or current affairs, however, as the numbers didn’t significantly spiked, it would be safe to say none of the networks enjoyed a “Bob Hawke” uplift.

Seven’s news was the most watched show of the night with 941,000 tuning in according to OzTAM metro numbers. Nine’s variant was second with 903,000 and the ABC’s 7pm version did 679,000.

Seven won the night with 30.2 per cent audience share. Nine had 24.5 per cent, 10 did 18.6 per cent, the ABC had 18.2 per cent and SBS did 8.4 per cent.

Other highlights for Seven were Home And Away (627,000), The Chase (537,000), an impressive Front Bar (464,000) and Britain’s Got Talent (423,000).

Over at Nine, ACA had 731,000, Hot Seat did 537,000 and the Tigers-Storm NRL match had 339,000.

10’s best were MasterChef (636,000), The Project (460,000), MasterChef Masterclass (415,000) and 10 News First (405,000).

The ABC’s doers were 7.30 (545,000 and Escape From The City (479,000).
