The Voice Continues To Win Fans For Nine

The Voice was back on top last night as Nine’s reality singing show pulled in 1.886 million.

While The Voice took up a 90 minute timeslot from 6.30pm, Seven’s House Rules nabbed 1.301 million in its hour slot at 6.30pm, according to OzTam preliminary ratings.

Ten’s Masterchef in the 7.30pm timeslot managed to sneak its way into the top ten with 885,000 viewers and coming in eighth place, just behind Sunday Night on Seven also at 7.30pm (1.124 million viewers) and Seven’s A place to call home at 8.30pm (966,000 viewers).

Masterchef was Ten’s most watched program from yesterday as the two episodes of Modern FamilyTen Eyewitness News and Elementaryalso scraped places in the top 20.

Nine won the night overall with a total combined share of 33.8% of all free-to-air metro viewers.

The network’s primary channel grabbed a share of 27.1%.

Seven came second with a 29.4% share, with its main channel seeing 21.2%.

It was a close battle for third between Ten and ABC with Ten scraping ahead as OzTam showed the network grabbing a 16.7% share.

Ten’s main channel had a 11.7% share.

ABC came fourth with a total combined share of 15.8% as ABC1 saw a 10.7% share.

SBS came fifth with a total share of 4.3%. SBS One saw a share of 3.4%
