The Verdict Is In: Premiere Of Channel Nine’s The Verdict Flops

The verdict is in for Channel Nine’s Q&A rip-off The Verdict; last night the panel show drew in 522,000 viewers according to OzTAM figures.

To put that number into perspective- a repeat of Highway Patrol drew in 698,000 viewers.

Karl Stefanovic hosted the panel show, at one point he pleaded with the seven panelists:“It’s no use everybody talking over each other!”

The Verdicts panel show guests included Mark Latham, Mamamia editor-in-chief Jamila Rizvi, Jacqui Lambie, former AFL player Campbell Brown, psychologist Sandy Rea, deputy director of The Sydney Institute Anne Henderson, and counter-terrorism expert Dr. Anne Aly.

Last month B&T reported that Nine execs David Gyngell, Andrew Backwell and Michael Healy loved the audience’s response from The Verdict‘s filming.

Twitter was not impressed:
