Ten Slammed For Misleading Viewers By “Queerbaiting” In Bachelor In Paradise Promo

Viewers of Ten’s Bachelor in Paradise have fumed at the TV network over one of the promo ads it’s been running for the dating show.

In the lead-up to last night’s episode, Ten had been running a promo which portrayed that female contestants Megan Marx and Elora Murger were going to be revealed as an item.

However, the person Marx was shown to be kissing in the water wasn’t Murger at all, but in fact male Canadian contestant Thomas Perras, as last night’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise revealed.

Unsurprisingly, the sneaky move from Ten copped a backlash from viewers on social media, with some criticising the ad as “queerbaiting”.

B&T has contacted Ten for comment.
