Sunday TV Wrap: Ten Tanks On The Back Of Russell Coight’s Big Tumble

As we’ve come to expect, Nine’s The Block was the standout entertainment show from Sunday night with an impressive 1.016 million viewers.

However, it was Ten’s Russell Coight’s All Aussie Adventures that was noticeable for its dramatic reversal in fortunes, pulling just 634,000 last night and down a whopping 247,000 viewers from the previous Sunday.

Ten’s disappointing night meant it attracted just 12 per cent audience share and was soundly thumped by Seven (33.1 per cent), Nine (30.8 per cent) and even the ABC (17.5 per cent). SBS posted 6.5 per cent.

Seven’s 6pm news bulletin was the most watched show of the evening with 1.25 million viewers. Little Big Shots did well for the network with 787,000.

However, Seven’s Sunday Night (573,000) had to play second fiddle to Nine’s 60 Minutes (733,000).

For Nine, its 6pm news bulletin pulled 1.02 million and a Doctor Doctor repeat had just 223,000.

Over at Ten, The Sunday Project had a night to forget with just 382,000 viewers while the movie Daddy’s Home pulled 229,000.

For the ABC, the finale of Jack Irish was the sixth most-watched show of the night, pulling an impressive 727,000. Its 7pm news bulletin had 701,000, Grand Designs pulled 536,000, Vera had 307,000 and repeats of War On Waste (186,000) and Anh’s Brush With Fame (121,000) were the story of its night.

For SBS, its best was Treasure Decoded with 205,000 tuning-in.
