Sunday TV Wrap: Nine Assembles A Winner With Lego Masters

Nine’s Lego Masters has debuted to some impressive numbers last night, posting 1.37 million viewers according to OzTAM metro numbers.

It also took some shine off MKR’s grand final. It could only muster 873,000 viewers and, it would have to be said, has proven a bit of a disappointment for Seven this season.

Last night’s other debutant, Seven’s House Rules, posted 782,000 and helped the network to a Sunday night win.

Seven had 32.5 per cent of last night’s audience. Nine wasn’t far behind with 31.2 per cent. The ABC nabbed 16.3 per cent, 10 had to settle for 13.3 per cent and SBS had 6.6 per cent.

Other standouts for Seven was its 6pm news with 1.16 million and its afternoon AFL coverage with 412,000.

Nine’s news pulled 962,000, 60 Minutes had 556,000 and its NRL coverage had 280,000.

Over at 10, Bachelor In Paradise pulled 427,000, The Sunday Project had 316,000, 10 News First did 243,000 and Hughesy We Have A Problem pulled 231,000.

The ABC’s night ran thus: Vera (671,000), 7pm news (607,000) and Will Australia Ever Have A Black Prime Minister? (348,000).

SBS’s best were David Baddiel On The Silk Road (210,000) and a repeat of Secrets Of The Chocolate Factory: Inside Cadbury (180,000).
