Sunday TV Wrap: Marathon Logies Pulls 851,000 Hardy Souls For Nine

Some 851,000 viewers tuned-in for all the frocks, shock and the usual blunders of last night’s Logie Awards aired on Nine. Check out B&T’s coverage of the night here.

The numbers were slightly down on last year when the event pulled 972,000 viewers.

But it was enough to give Nine the night with 34.3 per cent audience share. Seven was second with 29.8 per cent, Ten third with 15.8 per cent, the ABC had 13.4 per cent and SBS 6.7 per cent.

Nine’s news pulled 1.05 million viewers, followed by its Logies red carpet preview that had 840,000.

Over at Seven, its best was its 6pm news bulletin with 1.2 million viewers, while House Rules had a good night with 915,000 and Sunday Night pulled 567,000.

Ten’s best was MasterChef with 718,000, while The Sunday Project had an off night with only 392,000 (namely because all the show’s star were on Nine’s Logies coverage).

The ABC’s night went thus: ABC News (656,000), Mystery Road (572,000), Grand Designs New Zealand (534,000) and repeats  of Back in Time For Dinner (168,000) and Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery (125,000).

SBS’ best was Treasures decoded with 232,000 and the World Cup match between Spain and Russia that pulled 220,000.
