Streem Signs On As Major Sponsor Of PRIA’s 2017 Golden Target Awards

The Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) has announced that Aussie real-time media intelligence provider Streem has signed on as the major sponsor of this year’s Golden Target Awards.

The awards recognise the best of the best from Australia’s PR and communications industry, and will be held in November at the iconic Sydney Opera House.

With entries closing on Wednesday 9 August, the Golden Target Awards include 29 categories across corporate, government, not-for-profit in-house teams and consultancies. Streem will also sponsor the Excellence in Measurement & Evaluation Award.

Furthermore, for the first time in their 40-plus year history, entries to the awards are open to the entire PR and communication industry across Australia.

PRIA chief executive Anne Howard said: “PRIA is thrilled to partner with Streem as the major sponsor for the prestigious Golden Target Awards, and I believe the timing is perfect as our industry faces increasing pressure to demonstrate real measurable results and outcomes of our work.

“We are looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Streem into the future.”

Streem Elgar Welch said: “It makes a lot of sense for Streem to partner with the PRIA, and we’re looking forward to showing the communications industry they now have a fast, accurate and reliable media intelligence choice that backs their work.

“Streem already supports some of Australia’s largest corporate and government organisations, and the platform represents a fundamental shift in the slow, tired and traditional model of media monitoring. A credible and better choice now exists.”
