Starts At 60 Makes Two Executive Appointments

Mature-age media platform Starts at 60 has welcomed two new leaders to its executive team as it looks to scale up and broaden its commercialisation.

Amena Reza (pictured above, right) moves into the role of chief operating officer. She was formerly the managing director of ML Design, and is a chartered accountant and a non-executive director of RSPCA Queensland.

Wendy Harch (pictured above, left) takes the role of commercial director for travel to grow the Travel at 60 marketplace and build an online travel agent within the company that is designed to properly serve the Baby Boomer with relevant experiences.

Harch bring with her a longstanding travel background, having held senior marketing roles at Fantasea Cruises and AAT Kings.

Starts at 60 CEO Rebecca Wilson said: “The business is pushing forward into growth of a different kind to that we’ve enjoyed in digital media, and that takes strong leadership and a great team, which I’m really proud to say we have added to with the arrival of Amena and Wendy, both of whom are extraordinary leaders with deep skillsets in their professions.”

Commenting on her appointment, Reza said: “To be part of a dynamic business in a transformation phase is an exciting opportunity for me to fulfil my professional aspiration to make a positive impact, using my commercial acumen to gear and build a business for growth and operational success.”

Harch said: “I am excited at the opportunity to deliver dedicated product that meets the needs of the enormous and mobile Baby Boomer market and to be leading the next stage of growth of the Travel at 60 business.”

Starts at 60 is moving to serve the Baby Boomer market more thoroughly. Last week, it announced the launch of its insights and content marketing team, Boom Baby.

In May, the Starts at 60 team unveiled a new national club for the Baby Boomer and older generations.
