Starcom Appoints Media Veteran Carl Colman To Head Suncorp Business

Starcom has announced the appointment of Carl Colman as managing director of Suncorp.

Colman has more than 20 years of media experience and comes to Starcom from News Corp Australia where as director, national customer solutions he played a key role in developing sales, data and content strategies across the automotive, travel and tourism, entertainment, health and finance sectors.

Prior to his role at News Corp, Colman was a partner at Publicis Mojo where he was responsible for delivering client services for the Publicis Australia Agency network.

Starcom MediaVest Group Australia CEO Chris Nolan said: “We are delighted to have Carl join our team. His experience and diverse credentials across media, content, digital and data will assist the integration and collaboration across all marketing disciplines”

Colman said: “I am thrilled to be joining the Starcom team and leading the Suncorp account. My role will be to strategically drive the Suncorp roadmap by creating human experiences for Suncorp and its customers.”

Colman’s appointment is effective 11 May 2015.
