Spotify Australia’s Jane Huxley Promoted To EMEA, Moving To UK

Spotify Australia’s managing director, Jane Huxley (feature image), has been promoted to a global role as managing director for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

Huxley’s new role will see her moving to London in the next few weeks, where she will report to Spotify’s global head of markets, Cecilia Qvist.

She joined Spotify from rival streaming service Pandora in August 2017, which is shortly after the service closed down its Australian operations.

There has been no news on who will replace Huxley in the ANZ region.

Before taking on the world of music streaming, Huxley worked in digital at Fairfax, as well as holding roles at Vodafone and Microsoft.
