Snapchat Enables Users To Share & Watch Videos On Other Platforms

After recently unveiling a fresh look, video messaging app Snapchat has announced it will allow users to share its public content beyond the mobile app.

The change means that Snapchatters can now share video from the app’s Our Stories, Search Stories and Official Stories, which will be displayed on Snapchat’s website.

The new feature is all part of the Snapchat’s plan to demonstrate what the platform is capable of to those who don’t use it. It is also set to make like easier for media outlets to include content from Snapchat in their news coverage.

However, the bad news for marketers is that Snapchat won’t include advertising in the Stories that are shared on other platforms, but could change its mind in the future.
