Search Firm Croud Ends Search With Three New Hires

Global digital search and performance agency Croud is building on recent strong growth adding three new hires to its Sydney team.

Dan Richardson (far left in photo) joins as commercial director returning to Sydney from the UK where he was most recently new business director at digital strategy agency Brilliant Noise.

Richardson previously spent three and a half years as commercial director at Switched On Media in Sydney.

In his new role Richardson will oversee new business and client services. He’ll also work closely with Croud Australia MD Jon Roberts on the overall direction and strategy for the agency.

“I’m thrilled to have joined the team and to be back in Sydney. Croud offers something very different in the Australian market. Our approach transforms the traditional agency model, bringing greater transparency and better results for clients,” Ricahrdson said.

Joining Richardson are Clark Boyd (far right of photo) and Gillian Kelly (middle).

Boyd joins as director of strategy after four years at iProspect in London where he worked with brands such as American Express, ASOS, Microsoft and General Motors.

Kelly joins as a senior client services manager from Castleford where she was a senior content marketing strategist.

Jon Roberts, Croud Australia’s MD said of the appointments, “It’s been an incredible journey over the last couple of years. For us now to be attracting such stellar talent is indicative of the significant and positive impact that Croud is having in Australia and the hugely favourable response from clients and partners on our truly unique approach to digital. We are only at the beginning of where we want to be and the impact that we want to have, with these hires demonstrating a clear intention of where we are headed.”
