SCA Names Lyn Barp Head Of Local Sales For Sydney

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has announced the appointment of Lyn Barp as its head of local sales for Sydney.

Barp, who has been a part of the sales team at SCA and Austereo for the past 18 years, started in agency before moving her way over to direct, where she was more recently a group sales manager and then co-shared the sales director’s maternity cover in 2016.

During this time, Barp has worked across some of Australia’s leading brands such as Harvey Norman, Boost Juice and TPG.

In her new role, Barp will be leading a team of over 30 staff and will be responsible for managing SCA’s revenue across metro radio, regional radio and digital assets.

Carla Vella, head of radio sales for Sydney at SCA, said she was thrilled to appoint Barp to the role.

“She is a fantastic operator and a valued member of our leadership team,” she said.

“Lyn knows exactly how to deliver results for clients, and I’m looking forward to her playing a key role in our business growth moving forward.”

Commenting on her appointment, Barp said: “I look forward with excitement at the opportunities that lie ahead, and to be leading this amazing team who are at the top of their game.”
