Sarah Grant Appointed Editor Of Sunday Style

NewsLifeMedia’s group publisher of lifestyle brands Nick Smith today announced that Sarah Grant has been appointed editor of Sunday Style, Australia’s premier weekly glossy insert.

Grant is currently the deputy editor of Sunday Style and steps into her new role as editor from Monday 14 September. Current editor-in-chief of Sunday Style Kerrie McCallum has been promoted to take on a broader remit as editorial director of the brand.

Smith said: “I’m delighted that Sarah is stepping up and taking on the new challenge of editing Sunday Style, she is an amazing talent and has been doing a great job with the brand. This is a well-deserved opportunity for Sarah, her passion for popular culture, fashion, lifestyle, relationships, food and travel makes her the perfect fit to lead Sunday Style.

“Kerrie has done an outstanding job creating and leading this weekly for the past two and a half years, redefining newspaper inserted magazines both editorially and for our advertisers. Her new role allows her to focus on the strategic direction and growth ofSunday Style. Kerrie is a fantastic mentor for Sarah and both appointments are a testament to the excellent work they have done with the brand.”

Grant said: “I am thrilled to take on this new role at Sunday Style, and look forward to delivering more of the engaging, inspiring and unique content for which the title is renowned.”   

With 15 years’ publishing experience, Grant has been deputy editor of Sunday Style since July 2014. Prior to that she was features editor of WHO magazine for five years; and before that editor of The Daily Telegraph’s Sydney Confidential for over three years.

Grant will report to McCallum.
