Rupert Murdoch Dating Former Supermodel Jerry Hall: Reports
The world’s moguliest media mogul Rupert Murdoch has confirmed one of the world’s worst kept celebrity secrets – that he’s dating former supermodel and Mrs Jagger, Texan Jerry Hall.
There’s a 25 year age gap between the two lovebirds, with the 84-year-old Rupert and the 59-year-old Hall said to have been seeing each other for some time, however, media reports are saying they will publicly debut their love at next weekend’s Rugby World Cup final between the Wallabies and All Blacks. A no more romantic setting than we’ve ever seen.
Not that Rupert’s any stranger to the younger ladies, his former wife, Wendi Deng, was 38 years his junior.
Hall famously dated (but never married) the Stone’s frontman, Mick Jagger, for 22 years from 1977. And this certainly isn’t her first Aussie flame, having dated Perth property millionaire Warwick Hemsley in 2010.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Hall and Murdoch have already been seen out in New York and sunning themselves on the beaches of California.
Supposedly, there has been some rumours about the two bubbling in UK press circles too. English gossip mag Popbitch recently ran a story under the heal dine “Gruesome Twosome” about the two’s affection for each other. “There are some horrible, horrible rumours doing the rounds that Rupert Murdoch’s new squeeze is… Jerry Hall,” it wrote.
The announcement of the affair follows on from June’s revelation that James Packer was dating Mariah Carey. However, unlike Murdoch’s secretive dalliance, the latter two have been very public about their romance – holding hands in public, posing for paparazzi shots and Mariah even serenading a besotted James during concerts. Proving yet again, love conquers all, peoples.
