Renewable Energy Firm Evergen Appoints New CMO Juliette Macauley
Infra-tech energy business and the provider of Australia’s only CSIRO-developed, intelligent energy management system, Evergen, has appointed Juliette Macauley to the role of chief marketing and analytics officer.
A CPA-qualified business professional with 15+ years’ experience in data and decision science, business analysis, business intelligence, and management accounting, Macauley comes from the banking and financial services industry, having worked in various senior data analytics and insights roles at Commonwealth Bank and Macquarie Bank.
Prior to this, she was an accountant working with leading financial institutions including Westpac, Salomon Smith Barney, and HSBC.
Evergen CEO Ben Hutt said: “We are pleased to welcome Juliette to Evergen especially at this very exciting and pivotal time in our growth.
“Juliette has a great combination of skills and experience and brings to Evergen a sound knowledge of leveraging analytics to grow the business, having established new products and businesses, developing start-up businesses, helping grow revenue and working closely with associated teams.
“I believe we live in an unprecedented era of global change around how we generate and consume energy. Climate change has never been more evident, and people around the world are beginning to rapidly change how they consume energy.
“Solar and battery technology, and the decentralisation of energy networks is critical to this and Evergen is at the forefront globally of the technology required to power and coordinate the energy network of the future.”
Macauley said she is excited to be part of the Evergen team and is looking forward to building the brand as well as making a significant contribution to the growth of the business.
She said: “Evergen will become a key constituent in the decentralisation of energy networks in Australia and elsewhere in the world, leveraging its technology and its installed base to create virtual power plants.
“I am looking forward to developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with key stakeholders to deliver benefits aligned to and supporting the Evergen business strategy.”
